Are You Wanting:

A Bigger Game

The bigger game comes in many forms. Perhaps you aspire to take on greater responsibility or a new role – one that will challenge you to grow in fundamentally new ways. Or maybe your organization is facing tremendous change and uncertainty, requiring you to expand your capacity to act boldly, lead with conviction and take risks. Whatever form your bigger game takes, it will require courage. What is the bigger game you long to play and how might coaching help you get there?

A Better Game

Playing a better game begins by reconnecting to your greatest strengths – those things you do exceptionally well and that enliven you. It also involves identifying old habits and patterns that keep you from playing at your best. This can be hard to do without the support of a coach. When asked why he still worked with his coach after he had reached the pinnacle of his sport, Tiger Woods replied, “Because I can’t see my own swing.” What is your reason for wanting to play a better game and how might being able to “see your own swing” help you?

A Different Game

The desire to play a different game can live quietly within you for some time, causing a restless discontent. Maybe you long to change roles, change companies or change careers but you lack the clarity or conviction to move forward. Or perhaps you are playing an unwinnable game – one in which you can’t be successful no matter how long or hard you work. Do you long to play a different game? If so, how might working with a coach help you discover the clarity you need to forge ahead and find your next steps?

J. Terrell, CEO

"Bridgette has had a profound and powerful impact on my life as a leader and on my organization in general. She brings a lightness of touch, sense of humor and empathy in combination with deep expertise and experience as a coach. The result has been a new sense of clarity, direction and self-understanding for me personally and for everyone who has been privileged to work with her in the company. I highly commend her to anyone with the courage to face important change."

T. Serena, CEO

“Before I became CEO, I had a million ideas for improving our organization. I quickly discovered that the view changes considerably once you actually get the job. It was clear that the organization couldn’t absorb all these ideas in the way I envisioned. More immediately, I needed to improve soft skills that I hadn’t fully developed throughout my career. Bridgette worked with me to create a clear picture of where I wanted to lead the organization, how I would lead and how to communicate with clarity to those in the organization. She was particularly effective at helping me strengthen my leadership skills: resilience, empathy and especially the ability to bring calm to anxious situations. My investment in coaching and time spent with Bridgette was repaid a hundred-fold, as I have become more confident and clear about my role.”

E. Landis, VP

"There are people in life who cross your career path that make a lasting and immeasurable impact. Bridgette Theurer was that person for me. Charged with needing to “find my voice” among the executive leadership team at my organization, Bridgette transformed me from someone who was reluctant to speak up and share my opinion within this group to a team member who possessed confidence, courage, and clarity. In my work with Bridgette, I identified my core values as a leader, discovered and appreciated the strengths that I bring to the table, and came to embrace my introverted style as an asset rather than a disadvantage. I feel lucky to have crossed paths with Bridgette; my time spent with her was a pivotal moment in my career, bringing into focus what I was capable of achieving and helping me to create a hopeful future for a very gratifying career."

D. Leidig, CEO

“When I became CEO, I inherited a fractured board, an organization in need of reinventing and a culture that was anxious and reactive. Having Bridgette coach me through this transition was a game changer. She helped me to build a foundation of trust with the board, clarify and communicate my vision and develop a stronger and more effective leadership presence. While I had been with my organization for a long time before taking on the role of CEO, the learning curve in this new position was steep. I’m grateful that I had the support and guidance of Bridgette’s coaching to help me climb this learning curve quickly and well. If you are facing an important transition or have taken on a new leadership role, I highly recommend working with Bridgette. She will help you to more fully access the talent, potential and vision that resides inside of you so that you can lead from a place of strength.”

E. Hanke, VP and Partner

"I have worked with Bridgette on and off for over a decade and I can honestly say my life – personal and professional – is markedly better for it. What started as a traditional corporate coaching arrangement for a somewhat dysfunctional management team has developed into a partnership between our companies that extends to all levels. Bridgette is an expert relator. She listens, observes and pulls the important issues from our discussions. She helps us identify areas needing improvement and to draw on our own strengths as individuals and as a company to fulfill them. Her ability to assess and adapt is something that sets her apart. She effortlessly adapts to the person, the organization and even the energy at a particular point in time, all of which enable her to maximize the value she can add. Bridgette has helped us develop and understand seemingly simple concepts such as how to establish and build trust in relationships, how to give effective feedback and how to collaborate as a team, all of which have improved how we work together each day. Although it is clear that Bridgette believes strongly in the concepts she presents, it is not the material itself that produces growth and awareness in those she teaches, but her ability to elicit positive change in others. She genuinely cares about, and invests herself in, the development of our people. Because of Bridgette, our company as a whole is more effective and successful and so are our individual employees."
